Naming Ceremony

When a new baby arrives, families and friends want to shout their joy and excitement from the rooftops.

A naming ceremony is a perfect way to welcome the little person into the family. Together we will create an personalised event that is full of love

A Naming Ceremony has no legal  requirement's or stipulation. However a Naming ceremony doesn't replace the legal requirement to register the birth of your baby with your local Register Office.

A Naming Ceremony is a personal choice and a lovely way to celebrate the birth of your baby.

The Certificate that you will receive is to mark the event and is purely a keepsake for you and the supporting adults.

A Naming ceremony is a very special way to welcome a new baby into the family. The ceremony can be highly personal, meaningful event that reflects your own values.

It can also be an opportunity to declare in front of your family and friends your promise to be the very best parent you can be. Or the ceremony could focus on your baby's future development and the contribution they will make to the wider family.

Your ceremony could also celebrate the significant people who will play an integral role in your baby's upbringing. These significant people are known as Supporting Adults. They can make declarations of love, ongoing encouragement and protection.

Once you have decided you would like a naming ceremony, I will arrange a planning meeting, where we will discuss all your ideas of your perfect naming ceremony. You can be so creative, with style, location, music, readings. Maybe you are considering creating a time capsule to mark the event or releasing helium balloons or planting a tree. There is so many ideas to consider.

Meditation of the upbringing of children

If children live with criticism, they learn to condemn.

If children live with hostility, they learn how to fight.

If children live with ridicule, they learn how to be shy.

If children live with shame, they learn to feel guilty.

If children live with tolerance, they learn to be patient.

If children live with encouragement, they learn to have confidence.

If children live with praise, they learn to appreciate.

If children live with fairness, they learn justice.

If children live with security, they learn faith.

If children live with approval, they learn to like themselves.

If children live with love around them, they learn to give love to the world.
